The Naturalist and Volunteer Training programs are
provided by members and partners of the MNA. They volunteer their
sites and time to help organize and conduct the trainings.
-
We are currently looking for 4 more organizations
to host events in 2011.
-
These programs are open to the greater Minnesota
regions as well as the Twin Cities metro area so that all
environmental facilities throughout the state can participate.
Look for additional upcoming 2010 dates in the MNA e-Newsletter.
If you represent the Greater Minnesota area and are interested in
hosting, co-hosting, or have ideas, thoughts or comments to share
please contact the MNA Naturalist Training Committee Chair: Crystal

The MNA Conference
Committee is looking for items for the silent auction to be held at
this year's Minnesota Naturalists’ Association Annual Conference, at
Camp St. Croix, in
Hudson, WI, November 12 - 14, 2010.
Dig through those
nature center closets, prop rooms, curriculum boxes, and libraries for
items to be auctioned off to raise money for the MNA scholarship fund.
This is your chance to recycle, reuse, reorganize, and help the next
generation of naturalists get a taste of our biggest event of the
year!
If you have potential
sponsors or folks just dying to donate items for the silent auction or
raffle, now is the time to subliminally schmooze them at the water
cooler... er, respectfully ask them to help our cause with their
generous investment in the education of future generations.
Set aside your items
and start thinking about your opening price... this is always a
popular part of the conference. And a great place to meet people
interested in the same things you are, and figuring out ways to outbid
them at the last minute!
