Bats are truly amazing, and their place in the process of evolution continues to matter very much. This workshop covers bats from the time of the dinosaurs to the present. Amazing Bats reveals the evolution and distribution of bats, and the mechanics of their flight and echolocation. Following that, we look at how bat threats have changed, and perhaps changed us. Finally, the workshop looks at specific threats now faced, and what we can do to forestall further harm.

Check-in begins at 8:30 and the program begins at 9:00. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
