MNA Members-Only Rafting Event

This special event is open only to current members of Minnesota Naturalists’ Association. Climb on a raft and enjoy a program led by naturalists, with naturalists.

Experience a rafting program at Coon Rapids Dam and wow each other with our vast resource of knowledge of birds, climate, plants, insects and geology along the mighty Mississippi. It’s a rare chance for naturalists to meet and network doing what we love: working in the outdoors. The rafting will be from 4pm to 7pm. Afterwards we will sit around a campfire on a beautiful late summer evening.

What to bring: Yourself, water shoes, pants/shorts that can get wet, bug spray, dry bag, snacks, something for dinner around the campfire (maybe a hot dog to roast), your knowledge. Adult beverages are allowed, and a fridge will be available at the CRD Visitor Center for drinks and food.

Paddling and safety equipment will be provided.
